By Bello Ahmadu Alkammawa

Greatness is eventually judged not by the length of days, but how one has been able to use his time on earth to make a meaningful contribution to the life of others around him. If Hon. Abdullahi Bello Kwasau is named the most influential among the APC youths in the state one might not be wrong. If he is regarded as amazing youth leader, the hope of hopelessness or architect of actualization of APC dreams in Kaduna State and the nation as a whole might not be wrong.

Since the inception of APC lead administration in Nigeria to date, he made a tremendous contribution that adds more value to not only the party itself but to the life of youth, as well as women for them to become self-reliant through various avenues available to him that have a direct bearing on their living standard.

He belongs to the type of people that cannot give up so easily once they start a course or an initiative no matter the difficulties they find themselves in achieving their desire; they must get to the conclusion. This reminds me about a chat I did with him during the first Kaduna Economic Summit where he said “We have to develop our people, our business, develop our agriculture and everybody must be involved. And this will enable us to keep our region abreast of the oil well dries up.

His humane posture and welfarism began right from his day in primary school where he associated himself with poor children. He assisted them and interacted with a lowly place in society in spite of his privileged position and by so doing he was loved by all and sundry since his childhood. This according to an investigation carried out by this blogger informed his direct access to people and how he handled issues affecting them.

The home of industrialization otherwise known as Kaduna South Local Government is one of the six commercial nerve centers of Nigeria due to its strong revenue generation. It’s always ahead of its peers in the area of trading as well as every aspect of boosting the economy in the country. One of the challenges facing the local government over the years has to do with reviving of its dilapidated industries which give birth to a high rate of unemployment that sends hundred thousand of people back to the drawing board, to add salt to many injuries there are teeming youth who completed their studies roaming the streets without job to do.

In a chat with diehard supporter of Hon. Abdullahi Bello Kwasau, Comrade Zaharaddeen Tuge, he reveals that if they were elected to run the affairs of the local government, they are going to invite investors at home and abroad to revive the said dilapidated industries in order to restore the dignity of the people as well as to have a sound revenue of executing projects that has a direct bearing to the people in all the nooks and crannies of the local government. He also assured students who had completed their studies that the council under them will come up with various skills acquisition centers to train them, for them to become useful to their various communities.

On the issue of drug abuse among the youth, Comrade Tuge said the council under Hon. Kwasau is going to partner with the United Nations agency on drugs for sensitization as well as training them with various skills that can make them busy to stop taking laws into their hands. He further added that the leadership is going to champion the cause of womenfolk through good empowerment as well as giving them soft loans to booster their petty trading. In a chat with a petty trader Miss Elizabeth Jonathan of Kakuri layout, she said it is time for the youth to come on board to run the affairs of the local government ruins by the past administrations. She expresses confidence in the candidature of Hon. Kwasau potentials in all the places he had worked to date. She, therefore, appeals to electorates most especially womenfolk and youth to come out in their thousands to vote for him in the forthcoming local government election in June this year. Miss Jonathan went further to add: “I was amazed by his capability of making the dreams of our party a reality through the neighbor to neighbor campaign fondly called APC Gida-Gida.
